ALM & liquidity oversight

Organise liquidity positions, assumptions, stress analysis and ALCO decisions in one governed workspace.

PURPOSE & PRACTICE

See the liquidity position and the decisions behind it.

Liquidity oversight depends on more than a headline ratio. Teams need to understand the cash flows, maturity assumptions and concentrations that produced it, then explain how the position changes under pressure.

RegQuanta brings liquidity assessments, supporting workings and ALCO follow-up into one review context. Treasury and risk teams can organise the period evidence, challenge assumptions and retain the actions agreed in response.

CAPABILITIES

What you can manage.

01

Cash flows and maturity structure

Organise cash-flow inputs, maturity ladders and structural-liquidity assessments. Keep behavioural assumptions and source reconciliations with the period they support.

02

Ratios, gaps and stress review

Bring applicable liquidity ratios, gap limits and stress scenarios into a documented review. Explain outliers using the underlying inputs and approved policy basis.

03

ALCO decisions and contingency actions

Retain meeting decisions, assigned actions and contingency-funding assessments. Track whether the agreed response has supporting evidence before treating it as closed.

FROM INPUT TO OUTCOME

A practical path through the work.

  1. Establish the cash-flow basis

Agree the period, source extracts, maturity allocation and behavioural assumptions before reviewing the position.

  2. Challenge the exposure

Examine gaps, ratios and stress outcomes against the institution’s approved limits and escalation process.

  3. Follow through the decision

Record the ALCO response, assign owners and retain evidence of the completed action or continuing exposure.

YOUR INSTITUTION, YOUR SCOPE

Relevant to banks and NBFCs.

BANKING INSTITUTIONS

For banks

Select liquidity controls for the bank’s subtype and operating model. Funding sources, deposit behaviour and reporting requirements need an approved bank-specific basis.

NON-BANKING FINANCIAL COMPANIES

For NBFCs

Scope maturity, funding-concentration and liquidity controls to the NBFC’s category, activities and borrowing profile. Bank assumptions should not be carried across without review.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before you put it to work.

Does this execute treasury transactions?

Treasury dealing and transaction processing remain in the relevant operating systems. This module organises liquidity control, assessment, review and supporting evidence.

How should a changed assumption be documented?

Retain the revised assumption, its effective period, approval and the reason for the change. Keep enough source support to distinguish an assumption change from a movement in the underlying cash flows.
