A LOOK INSIDE

A working file, with the reasoning visible.

Actual workbook preview: the fictional provider’s three risk actions. Completing one action leaves the other onboarding conditions open.

What the file calculates

Calendar days overdue and completeness checks for entered closure decisions. Risk ratings are entered under the institution’s own method, with rationale; the file does not prescribe regulatory scores.

What the package contains

The workbook contains Register, Example and Instructions. The separate Word questionnaire and completed case connect evidence to the decision and follow-up conditions.

USING THE TOOLKIT

A practical sequence for your team.

  1. Describe the service

Identify the activity, data, dependencies, service locations and accountable internal owner before reviewing the supplier.

  2. Challenge the evidence

Record what each document actually demonstrates. Separate a provider assertion from a test or contract that supports it.

  3. Decide and follow up

Record the authorised decision, conditions, monitoring and exit arrangements. Keep unresolved conditions visible after commercial approval.

For banks

Confirm the relevant bank category, outsourced activity and applicable direction. Material financial services and IT outsourcing may call for different assessments.

For NBFCs

Confirm the entity category, layer and activity against the relevant outsourcing framework. Document retained accountability and any specialised requirements.
