Actual workbook preview: three fictional occurrences. All dates are internal teaching assumptions, not RBI filing deadlines.

What the file calculates

The review target subtracts an agreed number of calendar days from the verified deadline. EDATE suggests the next monthly, quarterly or annual date; holidays and special rules require confirmation.

What the package contains

Three sheets: Calendar, Example and Instructions. One row per occurrence preserves earlier cycles; stable obligation and occurrence IDs connect repeated work.

USING THE TOOLKIT

A practical sequence for your team.

  1. Verify each obligation

Record the source and applicability rationale before entering a deadline. Separate external obligations from internal review dates.

  2. Work backwards

Assign preparation, review, backup ownership and source dependencies. Agree when a delay must be escalated.

  3. Close the occurrence

Retain completion evidence and independent review. Create the next occurrence without overwriting the completed cycle.

For banks

Distinguish obligations of the bank from branch, business and subsidiary tasks. Assign responsibility for consolidated inputs explicitly.

For NBFCs

Build the calendar around the NBFC’s actual permissions, activities and applicable requirements. Keep event-driven obligations alongside recurring work.
