What the file calculates

Days until the next review and completeness checks for approved or implemented rows. Approval needs a reference and date; implementation also needs evidence and a separate completion date.

What the package contains

The Excel file contains Tracker, Example and Instructions. The Word template and completed example provide the supporting narrative, consultation record and implementation checklist.

USING THE TOOLKIT

A practical sequence for your team.

  1. Explain the revision

Record the trigger, affected sections and operational consequences. Identify the actual approval authority.

  2. Resolve consultation

Retain material comments, decisions and the version submitted for approval. Make any accepted exceptions explicit.

  3. Verify adoption

Check procedures, access, training and operating evidence. Retire superseded copies and set the next review trigger.

For banks

Confirm the approval authority for the policy and the bank’s governance arrangements. Track rollout across affected businesses and branches.

For NBFCs

Use approval and review arrangements appropriate to the NBFC’s applicable requirements and governance. Link policy changes to servicing, origination or collections processes where relevant.
