Agree the institution and module scope
Record the bank subtype or NBFC category, relevant activities and the workflows needed first. Confirm the current approved regulatory basis and any exclusions. Establish which calculation and working-paper features are released and applicable to the institution.
Identify source owners and reconciliation controls
List the source systems, responsible teams, reporting periods, units and control totals. Bring representative extracts and retained originals. Agree field mappings, correction handling and evidence before importing operational data.
Define independent review responsibilities
Assign makers, checkers and final approvers with the appropriate workspace permissions. Include exception owners and escalation routes. Use representative cases to verify that contributors cannot approve their own work.
Rehearse a complete operating cycle
Walk through intake, validation, review, corrections, retained outputs and subsequent actions. Test incomplete sources and returned work as well as successful cases. Keep real regulatory submissions in the approved external process.
Set an evidence-based acceptance point
Agree the expected output, source reconciliation, role checks and management view for each workflow. Record unresolved gaps before expanding scope. Configuration and institutional sign-off are part of readiness, not inferred from a software demonstration.
